Planett is thrilled to share the exciting news that we have signed Damen Vestal to represent us as he rides in our Planett Pants and Gloves for the upcoming 2018 season. As part of our Local Rider Ambassador Role, Damen embodies the spirit of dedication and passion that we strive to promote within our Planett active range.
Kicking off his 2017 season at the Bluegrass Nationals in Louisville, Kentucky, Damen secured his remarkable 10th first-place victory, which elevated him into the intermediate category. His impressive performances on various tracks demonstrate his exceptional adaptability and relentless pursuit of excellence as a BMX rider. With a thirst for competition, Damen has achieved significant accomplishments in a short time, displaying not only skill but also poise under pressure.
Damen's talent was particularly evident when he earned the Surface Race Team's “RIDER OF THE DAY” title at the Brighton BMX State Qualifier on August 12, 2017. His determination and consistency truly set him apart.

“Damen never disappoints! He dominated the 14 intermediate category today, amassing total points by sweeping all three motos. Throughout the entire state series, he has proven himself to be a formidable competitor. Congratulations, Damen, on being Rider of the Day!”
On September 17, 2017, Damen raced with fierce determination and his trademark “CAN’T STOP WON’T STOP” attitude, clinching first place in his moto and earning the prestigious title of #1 in the state for 14 intermediate competitors at the 2017 Illinois State BMX Championships held in Rockford, Illinois. As the 2017 season draws to a close, Damen is preparing to make an impact at Grands in November at the River Spirit Expo Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
